In both quarries, the basic method of mining is cutting with diamond wire saws. We are in possession of seven diamond wire saws Benneti. We use also frontal loaders, excavator and dumper Caterpillar.
Location
LASKARIDIS MARBLE S.A. exploits white dolomitic and semi white calcitic marble. The PRINOS quarry is 9 km South from Limenas - Thassos and the Crystallina quarry 13 km WNW from Alyki.
